titleOfInvention Sacrificial coating forming method for cooling water passage in aluminum cylinder head
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent formation of scale and corrosion such as rusting for improving the heat conductivity of a cooling water passage by pressedly fitting, into the passage, a turning shaft on the outside of which a coating layer of sacrifical anode material is formed in such a degree that the outside diameter thereof can be capable of being pressedly fitted to the passage, and by turning the turning shaft so that a coating of sacrificial anode material can be formed on the inner circumferential surface thereof. n CONSTITUTION: In the inside of a partition wall 5, a straight cooling water passage 6 is formed, and cooling water is passed through the passage 6. Thereby the partition wall 5 is cooled so that the occurrence of thermal crack can be prevented. And, in the inside of the cooling water passage 6, a turning shaft 12 on the outside of which a coating layer 13 of sacrificial anode material is formed in such a degree that the outside diameter thereof can be capable of being pressedly fitted to the cooling water passage 6 is pressedly fitted. Thereafter, the turning shaft 12 is turned to form a coating 11 of sacrificial anode material of uniform thickness on the inner circumferential surface 10 of the cooling water passage 6. As a result, by the sacrificial action of the coating 11 by which the electrons of the coating 11 are positively passed to a lower voltage side, the contact corrosion of the coating 11 can be prevented, and also formation of scale and rusting in the cooling water passage 6 can be prevented. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
