titleOfInvention Method and device for treating vapor deposited film
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the method and device for treating a vapor deposited film which can extremely efficiently executed an oxidation treatment to assure the maintenance of electromagnetic conversion characteristics and the maintenance of durability and corrosion resistance over a long period of time and has excellent productivity. n CONSTITUTION: After a magnetic layer is formed of the vapor deposited film on a flexible base, this magnetic layer is subjected to the oxidation treatment. The flexible base 20 already formed with the magnetic layer is wound at a specified angle around a freely rotatable rotary drum and travels in a hermetic chamber 10. Gaseous ozone is irradiated with UV rays or heated and is then blown to the magnetic layer at the time of blowing the gas having a high gaseous ozone concn. to the magnetic layer in the region where the flexible base 20 is wound around the rotary drum. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
