titleOfInvention Optical writing device
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain sufficient quantity of light even in an optical writing device for high resolving power having a small arranging pitch by forming a conductive reflecting film on a fluorescent body. n CONSTITUTION: Transparent anodes 3 are arranged on a glass substrate 22 in one row and a fluorescent body 4 of ZnO:Zn is applied to the anodes by electrodeposition and a conductive reflecting film 41 composed of an aluminum membrane is formed thereon by vacuum vapor deposition. The thermoelectron discharged from the cathode filament 7 sealed in a container of face glass 9 and held under vacuum is accelerated by a grid electrode 6 and passes through the reflecting film 41 by the voltage applied to the anodes 23 corresponding to data to be recorded without being attenuated to allow the fluorescent body 4 to emit light. This light transmits through the glass substrate 22 to be formed into an image on the surface of a photosensitive body 10 by a rod lens 31. Since the light emitted to a reflecting side is reflected by the reflecting film 41, the emitted light can be efficiently utilized and the occupying volume of the device containing a space for the formation of an image can be reduced. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
