titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material for laser recording and recording method using the recording material |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a heat-sensitive recording material and a recording method capable of non-contact, high-speed and high-density recording by a laser beam having an oscillation wavelength in the visible to infrared region. [Structure] A heat-sensitive recording material for laser recording, comprising a support and a heat-sensitive layer containing a light-absorbing dye that is decolorized by a base, a diazonium salt, a base compound, and a coupler. A recording method in which an image is formed by irradiating a laser recording material with a laser beam corresponding to an absorption wavelength of a light absorbing dye according to an image pattern, and then exposing the entire surface to ultraviolet rays and heating the entire surface in this order. |
