(57) [Summary] [Structure] In a water-based pigment-dispersed ink jet recording ink, comprising (1) a step of subjecting to ultraviolet treatment or ozone treatment under normal pressure and (2) a step of graft-polymerizing a monomer having a vinyl group by thermal polymerization. The surface-treated carbon black is used in the following manufacturing method. [Effect] It has excellent storage stability, and printing quality does not bleed on plain paper or recycled paper that is generally commercially available, and high printing quality is obtained. |
