abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a deodorizing method for decomposing odorous components in exhaust gas on a catalyst using ozone. [Structure] The catalyst used here is M as the first component. One or more oxides of n, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Ag, and an alkaline earth metal oxide, hydroxide or carbonate as the second component. Odorous components are decomposed in ozone using this catalyst. [Effect] The above method is capable of efficiently deodorizing odorous components in exhaust gas and exhibits excellent effects.
