abstract (57) [Summary] (Correction) [Purpose] Prevents cracking of the cam piece during press fitting in a cam shaft that is integrally assembled by press fitting a sintered alloy cam piece into the protrusion formed on the outer circumference of the shaft. It reduces the generation of chips and improves the joint strength between the fitting member and the shaft. [Structure] A low carbon steel inner piece 2 is internally fitted to a hollow fitting member 1 made of a sintered alloy, and a shaft hole 20 of the inner piece thereof is A large diameter portion and a small diameter portion are provided, the raised portion 4 of the shaft 3 is harder than the inner piece 2, and its outer diameter D1 is larger than the inner diameter of the small diameter portion and smaller than the outer diameter of the inner piece 2, and preferably large. The diameter is made smaller than the inner diameter of the diameter portion, and the raised portion 4 is press-fitted into the shaft hole 20 and deformed to be fitted.
