abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] It is possible to obtain a complex shaped sintered body having high mechanical strength without causing equipment troubles and soaring processing costs. [Structure] After forming a gas impermeable film on the surface of the object to be processed, pressurization and heating are performed in an atmosphere of an oxidizing gas with an oxygen concentration of 100 ppm to 50 Vol% to prevent reduction of the sintered body. In addition, pressurization and heating are performed with an oxidizing gas having an oxygen concentration suitable for raising the ignition point of the heating furnace component. As a result, the characteristics of the sintered body are improved, the life of the heating furnace constituent members is extended, and the heat insulating layer 1 provided in the heating furnace 9 is provided. In combination with the configurations of 6, 25, and 27, a sintered body having a complicated shape with high mechanical strength can be obtained without inviting equipment troubles and soaring processing costs.
