abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] In a dot-matrix fluorescent display tube with a fine pitch, it is easy to dispose a grid and prevent leakage light emission. [Structure] The plurality of anode segments A form a matrix. Three wiring conductors are provided for each row of anodes, and every two anode segments in the row are connected to the same wiring conductor. One mesh grid G corresponds to two rows of anode segments. Each anode is 1 / dimension 3 is extended outside the grid. A positive potential is applied to two adjacent grids and the grids are shifted one by one. A display signal is applied to the inner two columns of the four columns of anodes corresponding to the two grids.
