How to color contact lenses |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Structure] A method of providing a uniform coating of a coloring agent on the surface of a dry hydrophilic contact lens, comprising: (a) a step of preparing a silicone rubber printing pad; (b) a coloring agent And a step of preparing a colorant solution containing a nonionic polyalkylene oxide surfactant; (c) a step of disposing the colorant solution on a printing pad; (d) bringing the printing pad and the surface of the contact lens into contact with each other. And (e) separating the printing pad and the surface of the contact lens from each other; and (f) fixing the colorant to the lens. [Effects] The contact lens obtained by the above method has an intact cover of a coloring agent, and has sufficient color strength as a colored lens, and is used as a lens that changes an eye into a slightly colored eye. Is excellent. |
