abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To maximize the power efficiency for vector control of an induction motor for any load and rotation speed. [Structure] The ratio A between the exciting current I 0 and the torque current I 2 is calculated in the current ratio calculator 23 from the primary resistance R 1 and secondary resistance R 2 ′ of the induction motor and the iron loss resistance R m ′. The exciting current I 0 is controlled according to the torque current I 2 , and the magnitude is controlled, Further, an iron loss component by the iron loss current calculator 28 is added to the torque current, and a controlled exciting current I 0 is applied to the calculation of the slip angular frequency ω s by the slip angular frequency calculator 29.
