(57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a thermosensitive recording medium in which the hue of a recorded image is different from the hue due to the reaction between a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a color former. [Structure] A thermosensitive recording medium comprising a support and a thermosensitive recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a coloring agent, wherein a layer containing an inorganic pearl pigment is provided on the thermosensitive recording layer.
