(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide an absorbent article having a characteristic. The absorbent article of the present invention comprises a substantially liquid impermeable outer cover. The outer cover forms a rear waistband portion and a front waistband portion, and has a polymer film material layer on the outer surface of the front waistband portion of the outer cover. The liquid-permeable topsheet layer is formed so as to contact the skin of the wearer, and the absorbent body is sandwiched between the outer cover and the topsheet. The length and width of the absorber are smaller than the length and width of the outer cover, thereby forming an end margin and a side margin in the outer cover. Adhesive bonding means are bonded to the film layer to secure the front waistband and the rear waistband around the wearer. |
