titleOfInvention Microphone power supply
abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a power supply device for precision microphones and other converters that does not require a separate battery power supply. The microphone power supply used in a precision microphone with an attached preamplifier is connected to the analyzer with a coaxial cable and is powered by the ICP current device of the analyzer. The microphone power supply supplies a polarization voltage and a preamplifier power supply voltage to the microphone and preamplifier assembly. The power supply receives the AC acoustic signal generated by the microphone, buffers the AC signal and provides it through a coaxial cable to an analyzer.
