titleOfInvention | Method for introducing and incorporating a foreign substance into an organism or cell and a device used for the method |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] To provide a method and an apparatus for implanting and introducing foreign matter-carrying fine particles in which foreign matter such as genes is carried on fine particles such as metal or polymer. [Structure] Nozzle tip hole and first communicating with this hole in sequence A valve seat, a first inner hole, a second valve seat, and a second inner hole, and a foreign matter-carrying particle insertion port with a cock valve communicating with the first inner hole, A two-stage needle valve of a nozzle system comprising a nozzle mounted on an automatic gun, a valve body that opens and closes at a first valve seat and a second valve seat in conjunction with the operation of the automatic gun, and a two-stage needle valve. When closed, the foreign matter-carrying fine particles are charged into the first inner hole, and the two-stage needle valve is operated to eject the foreign matter-carrying fine particles from the tip of the nozzle so as to collide with organisms or cells. Alternatively, the same two-stage needle valve as described above is used, except that the second valve seat is provided at the high-pressure compressed gas outlet of the automatic gun, and the nozzle tip is made detachable by a joint. It is characterized in that the scattered foreign matter-carrying fine particles are separated and collected. |
