titleOfInvention Field sequential color head-up display system
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Compact and programmable software for easy control and modification. [Configuration] Field sequential color head-up display system with: 1. Image generating means having at least two light sources of different wavelengths. 2. A polarizing means having a color selection polarizing filter having first and second absorption axes, wherein the first and second absorption axes pass linearly polarized light of the first and second colors. 3. Annular polarization means for selectively transmitting light of a color defined by emitted light that is optically decelerated. 4. Variable optical deceleration means. 5. Control means for controlling the amount of optical deceleration imposed on the transmitted light. 6. Above the scenery seen by the observer, Image combining means and image parallel means for superposing the generated images. 7. A holographic means by which an optical wavelength enhancing means allows the landscape and the resulting image to be viewed together through the image combining means.
