abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Purpose] Development of a cryogenic rectification system that can efficiently produce nitrogen gas products under elevated pressure without the need to compress the nitrogen gas products extracted from the tower equipment. [Structure] High-pressure tower (first tower) 104 and low-pressure tower (third tower) A third intermediate pressure column (second column) 107 operating at a pressure level intermediate 115 is provided to increase the recovery of nitrogen above that obtainable from the two column configuration. The degree of freedom (the degree of freedom in operating pressure) can be obtained by adding an intermediate pressure column. This degree of freedom is used to optimize nitrogen recovery and provides additional flexibility for producing refrigeration. |
