abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Evaporated helium is efficiently regenerated into liquid helium without using a recondensing device with a large cooling capacity. [Structure] The helium gas recovered via the first and second gas recovery pipes from the coolant storage container 3 and the dewar 4 in which the cold liquid helium 2 is stored is purified by the purifier 16 and then by the precooler 20. It is precooled, further cooled in the recondenser 21 to be liquefied, and stored again in the coolant storage container 3.
