abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide an ice maker capable of accurately identifying a CT sensor mounting abnormality, issuing an alarm, or protecting the equipment. [Structure] The ice maker I condenses the high-temperature refrigerant discharged from the compressor 21 in a condenser 42 and causes it to flow into a cooler 1 via an expansion valve 46, and circulates ice making water in the cooler 1. While performing the ice making process, the high temperature refrigerant discharged from the compressor 21 is caused to flow into the cooler 1 to perform the ice removing process. A fan 22 for cooling the condenser 42 and a CT sensor 3 attached to the condenser 42 for detecting the temperature of the condenser 42 1, a controller for controlling the operation of the fan 22 based on the CT sensor 31 during the ice making process, and an indicator. When the fan 22 is stopped, the control device gives an alarm display on the display based on the temperature of the condenser 42 detected by the CT sensor 31 when the temperature is smaller than a predetermined temperature increase rate.
