abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Improving halftone dot reproducibility, especially neutral reproducibility, of silver halide color photographic light-sensitive materials and reproducing halftone dots even when the exposure amount or development processing conditions change. Provided are a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material, a method for producing a color proof, and an image forming method, which are improved so as to reduce the fluctuation of the reproducibility, particularly the neutral reproducibility. On the support, at least one yellow image-forming silver halide emulsion layer, at least one magenta image-forming silver halide emulsion layer and at least one cyan image-forming silver halide emulsion layer are provided. In the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material, the photographic gradation of at least one layer is 4 or more, and the maximum density of at least one single color of yellow image, magenta image or cyan image is A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material characterized by being 1.5 or more and less than 2.0.
