titleOfInvention In-situ cleaning system for inlet mixer
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] An apparatus for cleaning an inlet mixer in an operating position in a nuclear reactor as it is is provided. [Configuration] A cleaning tool is inserted into an inlet mixer through a secondary inlet opening by a remote control. After inserting the cleaning tool, the inner surface of the inlet mixer is cleaned with a water jet. The cleaning system of the present invention comprises a nozzle cleaning tool, a throat / barrel / flare cleaning tool, and a pump system for supplying ultra-high and low pressure water to the installed cleaning tool, A launch system located at the top of the open reactor vessel for feeding and removing water conduits (power), control cables, monitor cables (devices) and cleaning tools into and out of the inlet mixer, As well as a computerized process monitor and control system.
