abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a novel electrically modifiable thermal radiation source and a method for manufacturing the same. The radiation source is an essentially planar substrate, a recess or hole formed in the substrate, and at least one incandescent filament mounted in the substrate, the alignment being aligned with the recess or hole. And a contact pad formed on both sides of the incandescent filament on the substrate, which supplies an electric current to the incandescent filament. According to the invention, the incandescent filament has at least 5 × 10 5. Doped with phosphorus to an impurity concentration of 19 atoms / cm 3 .
