[Structure] A photosensitive layer containing an oxytitanium phthalocyanine pigment dispersed in a binder has a Bragg angle (2θ ± 0.2 °) of 2 in a CuKα X-ray diffraction spectrum. An electrophotographic photosensitive member having a strongest peak at 7.3 ° and having a half width W at 27.3 ° of 0.4 ° ≦ W ≦ 0.6 °.
