titleOfInvention Irradiation window device for electron beam irradiation equipment
abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] To provide a double window type irradiation window device that efficiently cools the primary window foil by allowing stable cooling air to flow along the primary window foil with a simple structure. . The irradiation window device 40 is disposed at the end of the scanning tube and has a flange 52 having an elongated opening 55 and a peripheral supporting surface 53, and a frame 54 for pressing and fixing the peripheral edge 63 of the primary window foil 60 to the peripheral supporting surface. It is provided with a central crosspiece 48 arranged on the scanning tube side of the primary window foil and a cooling air blowing duct 73 for supplying cooling air 74 along the surface of the primary window foil on the reactor 2 side. The central crosspiece has a central supporting surface 49 and is separated from the peripheral supporting surface of the flange toward the scanning tube by a predetermined distance d, and the primary window foil supports the peripheral edge of the flange due to a pressure difference between the inside of the scanning tube and the inside of the reactor. As it separates from the surface, it is displaced toward the scanning tube side, and two substantially smooth curved surfaces that are continuous to the portion contacting the central supporting surface of the central crosspiece are formed. The cooling wind of the primary window foil is supplied from only one of the two peripheral portions parallel to the long axis of the elongated opening.
