titleOfInvention Method of modifying wet phosphoric acid by-product α-hemihydrate gypsum
abstract (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] It is possible to obtain hemihydrate gypsum that can be sufficiently used, without the need to hydrate once to dihydrate gypsum and to calcine, so that significant energy saving and simplification of the process can be achieved. In addition, due to these, it is possible to expand the usage in the field where the gypsum raw material has not been used in terms of cost. SOLUTION: In wet phosphoric acid production using igneous rock phosphate rock, by-product phosphoric acid α- which is a by-product when wet phosphite is manufactured by decomposing the igneous rock phosphate rock with sulfuric acid by a dihydrate-semiwater method. It relates to a method for modifying wet phosphoric acid by-product α-hemihydrate gypsum in which an inorganic alkali is added after washing and drying the hemihydrate gypsum.
