titleOfInvention Scraper type heat exchanger
abstract (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a scraper type heat exchanger capable of increasing the throughput without changing various factors and efficiently exchanging heat. A shaft (3) is rotatably driven in an approximately cylindrical material cylinder surrounded by a heat medium with an annular space for introducing a substance to be treated interposed therebetween. The scraper blade 7 in the form of a long plate is attached to the shaft 3 with bolts or screws 19 at the attachment plate portion 9 having the attachment holes 12. The scraper blade 7 has a scraper blade portion 8 at the front end in the rotation direction, and a gap portion 15 is cut out between the mounting plate portions 9 and 9 behind the scraper blade portion 8 to form a plurality of tooth portions 16. Equipped with comb teeth 14. A viscous substance such as shortening is scraped from the inner wall surface of the material cylinder by the rotation of the shaft, and a Taylor vortex is generated by the comb teeth 14. The mixture can be mixed rapidly and more strongly, the heat transfer can be improved, and the throughput of the material having a good finish can be increased.
