(57) Abstract: A helium-cooled superconducting magnet assembly capable of removing and maintaining a cryogenic cooler without interrupting the operation of an MRI system using a superconducting magnet is provided. A helium-cooled superconducting magnet assembly 10 including a helium gas recondenser 38 that returns liquid helium to a helium source 46 includes a cryocooler 12 in a sleeve assembly 13 and a magnet. Allows maintenance of the cryogenic cooler 12 during superconducting operation of the assembly 10. |
