abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a heat ray-shielding glass that can be suitably used in a site where high visible light transmittance and good heat ray-shielding performance are required. A transparent substrate contains at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of IIIa group, IVa group, Vb group, VIb group and VIIb group of the periodic table as a first layer from the substrate side. A heat ray shielding glass comprising a composite tungsten oxide film and a transparent dielectric film as a second layer provided on the first layer.
