titleOfInvention Process for producing alkanesulfonyl chloride and alkanesulfonic acid under pressure
abstract (57) Abstract: The present invention provides a compound of formula RSX, wherein X is hydrogen or -SR 1 , and R and R 1 are 1-20 carbons under pressure in the presence of aqueous hydrogen chloride. Of an alkyl group having an atom) and chlorine, the method for simultaneously producing an alkanesulfonyl chloride (ASC) or an alkanesulfonic acid (ASA) and hydrochloric acid with reduced contamination by ASC. . [Effect] The method of the present invention brings many advantages such as reduction of ASC contamination of hydrochloric acid, improvement of the volumetric efficiency of the reactor, and increase of the practical upper limit of the throughput of the reactor.
