SOLUTION: A coarse hard phase having a size of 20 to 100 microns is dispersed in a soft matrix of a nickel-based alloy or an iron-based alloy containing Hv of 300 or less and having a size of 5 to 30% by volume. A control rod drive mechanism using rollers and pins made of wear-resistant alloy and a nuclear reactor using the same.
