abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide a hand-held furnace in which oxides are removed and the flow of molten metal is smooth without impairing heat conduction. [Constitution] In a hand-held furnace 1 in which the molten metal received from the receiving section 3 is heated by a heater 4 of a heating section 5 and is pumped out from a pumping section 6, a heating section is provided between the receiving section 3 and the pumping section 6. A trap wall 7 is provided at an intermediate portion of 5, and the trap wall 7 allows passage of only the aluminum melt in the upper layer near the liquid level a. Further, a part of the trap wall 7 may be a window-shaped filter 8 or may be arranged in a zigzag shape in a plan view.
