titleOfInvention | Silver halide emulsion |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Correction) [PROBLEMS] To provide a silver halide emulsion which has an excellent working environment in the manufacturing process, has high sensitivity, has less fog increase, and has stable performance between manufacturing lots. SOLUTION: In a silver halide emulsion containing silver halide grains containing at least 95 mol% of silver chloride, at least one sensitizing dye is added as a supersaturated product, and at least one nitrogen-containing heterocyclic mercapto compound is added. A silver halide emulsion which is added as a solution having a dissociation degree of 0.99 or more and contains at least one compound selected from the groups a) to d) below. a) a compound having a structure in which three or more sulfur, selenium or tellurium atoms are linked in the molecule b) an organic compound having at least two unbound sulfur, selenium or tellurium atoms as members of a heterocycle c) the following general formula (I) compound represented by the general formula (I) R 11 -X 11 -X 12 -R 12 d) Inorganic sulfur, thiosulfonic acid compound represented by the following general formula (II) or compound represented by the following general formula (III), General formula (II) R 21 -SO 2 S-M 21 Formula (III) R 31 -X 31 O 2 -M 31 |
