titleOfInvention underwater pump
abstract (57) An object of the present invention is to prevent local wear of a lower surface of a durable wear cover member that covers an upper surface of a pump chamber provided in a pump casing. SOLUTION: A rubber cover member 50 that covers the upper surface of a pump chamber provided in the pump casing is provided with an outer peripheral edge portion 51c along a volute-shaped inner wall surface 37 of the pump casing. The lower surface of the outer peripheral edge portion 51c gradually and smoothly inclines so as to be sequentially located in the pump chamber as it goes away from the outlet 51f along the circumferential direction. Since the fluid and the earth and sand which have flowed into the pump chamber flow along the lower surface of the outer peripheral edge portion 51c of the cover member 50 and flow out from the outflow port 51f, The inclined lower surface of the outer peripheral edge portion 51c of the cover member 50 is prevented from being locally worn by sand or the like.
