abstract (57) Abstract: A skin protective agent containing a water-swelling clay mineral having a particle size of 1 to 1000 nm, an absolute value of zeta potential of 30 mV or more, and a purity of 90% or more as an active ingredient. [Effect] The use of the protective agent of the present invention reduces external irritation, particularly the percutaneous absorbability due to the use of a surfactant, and the lipid between the corneocytes, the natural moisturizing factor in the stratum corneum and the stratum corneum. It is possible to remarkably prevent the decrease of the amount of water in the inside.
