(57) Abstract: A solution of N-phenylmaleimide in an organic solvent (for example, acrylonitrile) having a good hue, a method for effectively preventing coloration or discoloration of the organic solvent solution of N-phenylmaleimide, and handling it. And an N-phenylmaleimide resin obtained by using this solution of N-phenylmaleimide in an organic solvent. SOLUTION: The total content of azobenzene and N, N'-diphenylhydrazine in an organic solvent solution of N-phenylmaleimide is 500 ppm or less (based on the weight of acrylonitrile solution), or the total content thereof is 500 ppm. Handle at less than ppm. |
