(57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a microorganism that efficiently produces bioracein or a derivative thereof, and a dye, a food coloring agent, a cosmetic coloring agent, and a dyeing method using bioracein or a derivative thereof. The present invention provides a novel dyeing means capable of dyeing silk and cotton in a mild blue-violet color tone, and a novel means for coloring foods and cosmetics in a blue-violet color. |
