abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] In addition to being able to easily perform gas type conversion work, A low-cost water heater that does not impair safety is realized. When an orifice plate (23) is fixed downward by a stopper (25), gas supplied from a gas supply passage (9) passes through a conversion part (20) as it is and flows toward a main nozzle (10). Here, when the stopper 25 is removed, the orifice plate 23 moves upward due to the spring force and presses against the step portion 11a to block the gas flow path. The gas flows toward the main nozzle 10 by passing through a communication port 23 a provided in the nozzle 23. Therefore, the gas ejection amount from the main nozzle 10 becomes substantially equal to the gas ejection amount when the main nozzle for high calorific value gas is replaced.
