abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a pneumatic radial tire with improved durability of a belt portion. SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire of the present invention comprises a rubber composition containing cobalt orthoborate, hexamethylol melamine pentamethyl ether and a cresol resin, having a steel wire having a wire diameter of 0.30 mm or more and a number of twists of 3 or less. The belt layer 6 is formed by embedding cords with 32 ends / 50 mm or less.
