abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive material which produces a highly sharp and durable knife edge. SOLUTION: An abrasive material 13 has abrasive particles in a weight ratio of 50 to 80% in an olefin-based thermoplastic resin structure based on an ethylene copolymer. The polishing material 13 is used as a leather grind or a honing material, is integrated on the substrate structures 25, 27, 28, is formed by injection molding, or is injected into a rigid wheel or disk placed in a mold. Injection molding into a molded rigid body. The polishing material 13 is used for polishing or finishing each surface of a crystal material, ceramic, silicon, and a semiconductor wafer.
