titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of gapless tubular printing blanket
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a tubular printing blanket which enables a printing machine to operate at high speed without excessive vibration / impact load, slippage and heating of a printing surface. SOLUTION: The cylindrical shape is formed by embedding compressible microspheres in an elastomeric material to form a compressible composite material and applying the compressible composite material seamlessly and tubularly onto a cylindrical backing layer. Forming a first layer of a printing blanket sleeve, seamlessly applying a second predetermined amount of the elastomeric material over the first layer and circumferentially into the second predetermined amount of the elastomeric material; Forming a second layer of said cylindrical printing blanket sleeve by embedding a material that is non-stretchable, and seamlessly applying a third predetermined amount of elastomeric material over said second layer in a tubular manner; A circle used on a blanket cylinder in an offset printing press, forming a printing layer of the cylindrical printing blanket sleeve by forming a cylindrical continuous printing surface on the printing layer. Manufacturing method of tubular printing blanket sleeve.
