abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an olefin type compound into an oxirane compound by reacting an olefin type compound with an organic hydroperoxide using a titanium-containing solid catalyst, which has a high selectivity and a known method. Provided is a method for producing an oxirane compound, which enables a desired conversion with smaller purification equipment and energy. The present invention provides a titanium-containing solid catalyst for producing an oxirane compound by reacting an olefin type compound with an organic hydroperoxide, and (1) a carrier in a titanium-containing impregnating liquid satisfying the following [formula-1].
