abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variety of processes for low-temperature distillation of feed air to produce nitrogen, particularly from low purity (up to 98% nitrogen) to ultra-high purity (less than 1 ppb oxygen). A method for producing high-purity high-pressure nitrogen is provided. The method uses an auxiliary low pressure separation zone D2 in addition to a normal high pressure column D1 and a low pressure column D3. Operating at the same pressure as the low pressure column D3 and the bottom reboiler / This auxiliary low pressure separation zone D2, which is thermally combined with the top of the high pressure column D1 by the condenser R / C1, pretreats the crude liquid oxygen 30 from the bottom of the high pressure column D1. Nitrogen 2 2, 62, 66 may be manufactured at two different pressures and two different purities. |
