abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded catalyst having excellent catalytic performance and capable of being easily and quickly produced, and a method for producing the same. [Constituent Requirements] The catalyst molded body is formed by mixing a base powder and a catalyst powder having a finer particle size than the base powder, and extruding a raw material containing the mixed powder. The catalyst is 10 to 80% by weight, and the base material is 10% by weight. About 80% by weight. Then, this catalyst molded body is formed by drying without sintering. The catalyst is manganese oxide, nickel oxide, copper oxide, high silica zeolite, activated carbon or iron oxide, and the substrate is aluminum hydroxide, talc, zeolite or silica gel. The catalyst powder has an average particle size of 0.5. The average particle diameter of the powder of the base material is at least twice the average particle diameter of the catalyst powder and not more than 200 μm.
