titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic material |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a silver halide photographic material having high sensitivity. A silver halide photographic material containing at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I). General formula (I) In the formula (I), Z represents a silver halide adsorbing group or a light absorbing group. L represents a linking group containing at least one carbon atom, nitrogen atom, sulfur atom, or oxygen atom. k 1 and k 2 represent 1 , 2 , 3, and 4, respectively. YX is composed of a partial structure constituting an electron donating group. However, 1) YX is from 0 to 1. It has an oxidation potential between 4v. 2) X is an electron donating group. 3) Y represents a leaving group other than a hydrogen atom, and the oxidized form of YX is cleaved to give a radical X and a leaving group Y. |
