NEW MATERIAL:A choline derivative of the formula [A is methyl or methoxy group at the p-position of the benzene ring when B is alkenyl ester of -R-COO-(R is alkenyl group), or methyl group at the o-position of the benzene ring OH at the m- position of the ring when B is carboxyl group -COO-; X is halogen]. n EXAMPLE: o-Methylbenzoylcholine. n USE: Substrates for choline esterase, having a low decomposition rate and improved storage stability. n PROCESS: An acid derivative, e.g. o-benzoyl chloride, is reacted with a halogenated choline, e.g. choline hydrochloride, to give the objective compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio |
