abstract | PURPOSE: To achieve the effective utilization of energy by making use of part of the waste heat of a prime mover which sends gas to an adsorbent containing part at the adsorbing in making water through adsorption of moisture content in the outside air in adsorbents. n CONSTITUTION: The outside air is fed from a blower 2 which is driven by a prime mover 2a into an adsorbent containing part 1A, where its moisture content is adsorbed. When the adsorbents saturate, a burner 5 is ignited and a blower 24 is energized to feed the gas in circulation line 23 into the containing part 1A so that the water content is desorbed. The gas whose volume has been increased in the circulation line 23 by the desorbed steam passes through a condenser 4 and the condensed water 6a is separedted into a water receiving cell 6. The gas is released to the atmosphere. At this time, the waste heat of the prime mover 2a is utilized for heating the gas in the circulation line 23, by which the energy consumption of the burner 5a may be reduced. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
