titleOfInvention Roll for printing machine
abstract PURPOSE:To fix a printing plate to a roll by a finger touch, perform accurate positioning and prevent printing shears by attracting and fixing the printing plate made of a magnetic material to the cylindrical surface of the roll having magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:On the outside of a sleeve 10, permanent magnets 11 are inserted via yokes 12, arranging to make the same kinds of magnetic poles face the yokes 12. By so doing, magnetic force lines 16 are generated uniformly on the outside of spacer rings 13. A printing plate 17 made of a magnetic material such as nickel, etc., is wound round the outer surface of a roll 9 fitting the printing plate to two pins 15. The printing plate 17 is fixed closely and uniformly on the outside of the roll by the attracting force of the magnets and is prepared to be used as a plate roll for a printing machine.
