titleOfInvention Water heater utilizing solar heat
abstract PURPOSE:To increase the effect of heat collection by a mechanism wherein convex lens groups are arranged to a supporting frame curved so as to match with the movement of the sun in rows, and the focusses of each convex lens are connected to a heat absorbing plate in a water tank. CONSTITUTION:The angles of each convex lens are adjusted so that the directions of a large number of convex lenses 11 disposed to a movable frame body 8 curving in an arc-shape are separately directed to the front to the sun moving to the west from the east in the daytime. Such adjustment connects the focusses of each convex lens 11 to a heat absorbing plate 3 in a water tank 2 successively during a time band when solar-rays irradiate, the effect of heat collection by means of the convex lenses 11 is maximized, and water in the water tank 2 is heated, and discharged from a hot-water discharging pipe 5 as hot water.
