titleOfInvention | Solar water heater |
abstract | PURPOSE: To make efficient heating by arranging semicircularly the cylindrical lenses made through the process by filling water in the combinations of two arc- shaped transparent plates and providing heat pipes at the focal distance of the lenses. n CONSTITUTION: Cylindrical lenses 3 are made by filling the combinations of two arc-shaped transparent plates 1a and 1a' with different radii and arranged semicircularly, heat pipes 4 are provided at the focal distance of the lenses 3 and water is supplied to the pipes 4. Thereby, the sunlight having passed the lenses 3 is condensed on the pipes 4 through proper refraction. Therefore, the water supplied to the pipes can be heated efficiently. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
