titleOfInvention | Rotating heat-exchanger |
abstract | PURPOSE: To permit the heating surfaces of a rotating heat-exchanger to be uniformly defaced and accumulation to be readily removed by rotatably providing inlet- outlet passages on the periphery of a fixed member in which heat-exchanger tube groups are arranged so that one fluid flows rotating and penetrating from the heat- exchanger tube group periphery through the tube groups. n CONSTITUTION: The gas led in from a gas inlet duct 1 flows as shown by arrows 26W35, and is discharged from a gas outlet duct 2. While passing between groups of heat-exchanger tubes 5 in a fixed member, the gas exchanges heat with the water flowing through the heat-exchanger tubes 5 from a water supply pipe 3 to a drain pipe 4. On doing this, by the drive of a pin rack 25, a casing 12 is continuously or intermittently rotated in the direction of an arrow 38 in order to replace the high- temperature side on the fixed-member periphery with the low-temperature side. Because the high- and low-temperature sides ar not fixed, the heating surfaces can be uniformly defaced. Moreover, because temperature conditions of accumulation are cyclically changed, it is more readily removed by soot-blowing. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
